Cleveland Ballet makes its Lakeside Chautauqua debut!
Join Cleveland Ballet for an enchanting evening of dance on the shores of Lake Erie, featuring a dynamic blend of classical and contemporary works! Patrons will enjoy a selection of classical performances inspired by Pablo Picasso’s connection to dance, including excerpts from Don Quixote and Paquita to highlight the legendary artist’s connection to Ballets Russes and his home country, Spain. Additionally, Cleveland Ballet will present the whimsical pas de deux Harlequinade, bringing Picasso’s famous Harlequin paintings to life reflecting the energy, colors, and emotions through movement and What Do We Do Now, a contemporary piece choreographed by Cleveland Ballet dancer Katharine Cowan.
