It's not the holidays without the beloved holiday tradition, The Nutcracker! Returning to Playhouse Square’s Connor Palace this December, Cleveland Ballet promises to enchant and inspire all audiences of all ages with this magical production - seen over and over again.

With new surprises each year, this two-act ballet is based on the original story by E.T.A. Hoffmann, set to the iconic score by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. The story unfolds as Clara receives a magical nutcracker doll, sparking a whimsical journey through the Land of Sweets. From a battle with the Mouse King to the dazzling Sugar Plum Fairy, magic awaits at every turn. Clara awakes and wonders…was it all real, or just a dream?
