Spend the summer with Academy of Cleveland Ballet learning new skills, refining ballet technique, and making lasting memories. Pick from four programs that range from engaging young dancers in ballet through a fun and creative program to elevating the skills and knowledge of intermediate and advanced dancers.

Level 1

Designed for students ages 3-4, this class keeps young dancers moving this summer. This level allows students to continue exploring the fun and love of ballet. Class includes introduction to ballet technique as well as engaging in creative motion and expression.

Level 2

This half-day program is intended for students ages 5-7, taking their training to the next level. While engaging in a fun and educational day, students naturally build confidence and skills. Students will take ballet classes with additional training opportunities to help become well-rounded dancers.

 

Classes include: ballet technique, stretching, jazz, creative movement, and more.

Level 3

For students ages 8-13 who are ready to experience personalized and daily training, this program elevates their technique and artistry. Meeting Monday-Friday, young dancers experience a wide range of classes that strengthen and grow their skills as young dancers.

​

Highlights of the classes include daily ballet technique, pre-pointe/men's classes, jazz, acting, conditioning, and character.

10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Tuition:

One week: $500
Two weeks: $900

Three weeks: $1,350

Four weeks: $1,800

Five weeks: $2,250

Level 4

Pre-professional students ages 14-18 build their strength, confidence, and excellence in ballet in this intensive curriculum. Dancers become more rounded and elevated by focusing on specialized skills in the Monday through Friday program.

Classes feature daily ballet technique, pointe/men's class, acting, Pilates, injury prevention, jumps/turns workshop, and character.

10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

One week: $500
Two weeks: $900

Three weeks: $1,350

Four weeks: $1,800

Five weeks: $2,250

Adult Ballet

Adults over the age of 18 enjoy drop-in classes ALL summer on Mondays and Fridays. This one-and-a-half hour class of ballet technique includes bar, center work, and full body training to engage all muscles. Classes teach the principles of body alignment, placement, strength and stretching. In addition, the fundamentals of coordination, balance, turning and jumping are taught and reinforced during center work.

Beginner Ballet welcomes all adults - new to ballet or experienced. Our Intermediate/Advanced class is designed for students with more advanced knowledge and experience in ballet technique, as well as modifications for all ages.

Beginner Adult Ballet: Monday 6:30 - 8:00 PM

Intermediate/Advanced Adult Ballet: Friday 6:30-8:00 PM

Adult Pointe Technique: Friday 8:00-8:30 PM

Tuition:

$20/class, $30 with pointe technique
